I don't know why John would not allow this message through, so I'm
thinking Blogger is acting up. It won't accept posts at all from my
version of Safari; but it at least says it's going through on Firefox...
"You keep using a model cel image of Batman to illustrate your points;
an image meant to be the most clinical possible. From a show where
cartoony isn't necessarily suitable (tho if you look at the storyboards
for the show, or the comics based on it, there's a much more cartoony
sensibility; but in those cases the cartooniness doesn't undercut the
tone the show creates). On the other hand, you're using pencils of the
older examples, which give more of an impression of looseness than cels
or screenshots would.
