CDan't believ eno opne ont he animation themed messageboards for
classic WB cartoons mentioned this.
He was:
At least two of the Three little Bops and their nememis, the
Big Bad Ultra-Square" Wolf"
(I have read that Daws Butler was also in that short,as one pig and as
the wolf)
-Stan sung the film's nattation, too)
-One of the Goofy Gophers
-Either Hubie or Bertie (really, it's hard to tell)
-Chester the eager little hero-wor****pping dog, to Mel Blanc's tough
guy ("Spike" in one cartoon, "Tree for Two", 1952) or Cockney-type dog
("Alfie" in another, later, cartoon, "Dr.Jekyll's Hyde",1954)
-The goofy goose in "Easter Yeggs" who though clearly male, laid the
eggs that Daffy takes credit for.
-The Hick mouse (Elmo) (except for a minute and a half scene where
he's gotten into champagne where Mel Blanc reads his lines tomake his
sound drunk LOL) who's trying to get "Erman"(read: ERMINE) in "A Hick,
A Slick, and a Chick" (fantastic Emery Hawkins, Don Williams, Bill
"Snoopy"Melendez and Basil Davidoch animation there)
-Pete Puma in "Rabbit's Kin"
-Junyer Bear after the first short "Bugs Bunny and the Three Bears",
the only time a established character appeared with that ursine family
- Mel Blanc I believe, did all voices except Bea Benadaret as Ma
Bear,a role she'd go and retain-Billy Bletcher took over Mel's Pa Bear
role)
And so many more such as creating Cecil the Sea Serpent and many
satire ads, radio shows and Capitol Records.I have a few of those.
Happy, 81st..EEEEE!(as Puma would say).
