When the parents of twins Shugo and Rena divorce,
the pair is separated, which distresses them both.
Oddly, such separation is contrary to normal Japanese
custom, which is for all children to go with the same parent.
It makes me wonder: Did the parents decide to separate
Rena and Shugo because of fear that they were too close?
They certainly are jealous of anyone who gets close to their
twin: when together, each acts to socially isolate the other.
And they are together as much as they can arrange.
If that was the motivation of their parents,
were they right to do so?
