Nah, they're not regents. Their official position is Tour Guide, with
their
specific duties involving telling visitors about Yosho and Haruna. (But
only
when it's convenient to the plot.)
Had there been any other stories set in the TU continuity, they'd probably
have been transferred to another tale that would turn out to be relevant.
(Hey, it's either that, or the writers would have to actually *work* to
find
Sasami some relevance in the plot. And we certainly can't have *that*,
now
can we?)
