for this issue of "HIPComix Happenings" marks the finale of the long-
running "Superheroine Squad" series, ten months in the making. I'd
like to thank a lot of people for their help and support, starting
with my good friend and collaborator Finister Foul, along with Jpeger
whose great website makes it all possible. There are many more people

Well, here it is. The final issue of "Superheroine Squad". When my
esteemed colleague Finister Foul and I started this project ten months
ago, we had no idea that our little story would become something this
big and reach so many people. Now, over 500 pages later, we are ready
to put a cap on this tale and call it a day. To those of you who have
followed our work over the past year (and perhaps longer than that)
all we can say is thank you for your patronage, your support, and your
participation. We have received literally hundreds of emails, IMs,
forums posts, and gallery comments and treasured each and every one.
But now it is time to wrap things up and move on to our next project,
which we will be announcing in the very near future.
Of course we aren't quite done yet! For those of you who have been
with us all along, following every twist and turn in the "Superheroine
Squad" saga, you won't want to miss this series finale. Not only does
it tie up some loose ends, but it also opens new doors and sets the
stage for the future of the Metrobay Universe. The best part is, even
if you haven't yet seen a single page of this epic tale, it still is
