On Thursday, May 1 , I had a radio interview. It was played on a
number of radio stations in the United States Saturday, May 3 towards
the end of a 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m broadcast, Eastern Time. It will
be kept in the archives at http://www.BusinessTalkRadio.net
in the
Equity Strategies with Stu Taylor section. My segment is in the
second hour and lasts from 36:00 to 43:45, 7 minutes 45 seconds in
all. I have a copy of it on my computer, but the entire hour is too
long to put on my website. Do any of you know how to cut my copy of
it so it contains only my segment? Just my segment would be small
enough to put on my website. (I would want to cut it anyway.)
The interview itself was conducted over the phone. Earlier they
told me to treat it informally which I did. Clearly it was my first
radio interview. Some pauses can be heard (or not heard) throughout
the interview. Minor trouble occured when I could not turn the page
to get to the poem I intended to read and hold the book at the same
time, but the interviewer was probably use to that kind of thing
happening and gave me more than enough time to prepare. Overall, I
think it went fairly well. I look forward to hearing it.
The main focus of the interview was me and my book. No mention
of anime shows was made, but there were a few sentences about how
Hollywood can be corrupt. The poem I picked to read was The Cross
which is a religious poem, and a short one.
