Hmm, looks like the tide's gone out for penguins...This, in spite of
many
good reviews at rottentomatoes.com

In fact, among all 2007 animated film U.S. releases up to this point
("Paprika"
is a 2006 U.S. release) "Surf's Up" has the highest tomatometer ranking at
77%.
Seems too bad then that this well praised movie doesn't do very well while
the
critically savaged "Shrek the Third" is on its way to the $300M mark.
Speaking of which, of the big deal threequels, StT was the worst reviewed.
Yet
it's also the one that's had the best legs at the boxoffice. :-(
"Paprika" expanded to a handful of more theaters, but its per theater
average
of only $3300 is not encouraging.
