(So, basically, a less disciplined version of the Doc-Hollywood "Cars"
formula--complete with Route 66 desert highway--with Sanders' insistence
that we simply have to LOVE his "quirky" characters because he says so,
rather than any actual story justification...
I can see why Lasseter would pass on it in favor of the princesses:
