"Chicago 10" loses a couple of its theaters, and plummets in box
office.
Apparently "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" has already
disappeared
from theater. All they did in their brief domestic run was $12,727,025,
barely half the boxoffice of "Jonah: a Vegi-Tales Movie". IMHO, the
boxoffice
fall matches the fall in entertainment value between that first movie,
which I
found funny and charming, and this dreary and depressing feature.
This weekend opens the first of this year's big mainstream releases.
Let's see if "Horton Hears a Who" either mauls Dr. Seuss as much as the
trailers imply, or if the film is actually as good as a lot of reviewers
have
asserted.
