3/14-16 Weekend Box Office

Information taken from Brandon Gray's

"Horton" has a respectable first weekend boxoffice. I expect it to
have
good legs as it's getting a lot of critical praise:

And so, "Enchanted" appears to have left theaters now that its on
DVD. It
ended its run with a decent domestic boxoffice of $127,807,262, as well as
an
overseas boxoffice of $190,308,000. To tell the truth, though, I wish it
had
done better. I really thought it deserved to be a blockbuster. It was my

favorite movie of 2007 other than "Ratatouille". A fun sendup of the
conventions that Disney princess movies work on, with lovely traditional
animation at the bookends and enthusiastic characterizations by Amy Adams
and
James Marsden. I've become a big fan of Kevin Lima's over the top sense
of
humor.
