I'm still enjoying Hayate no Gotoku. Not one of the real greats, but
still funny enough to make me laugh.

Of the new season's lot, two series seem to stand out (admittedly on
the basis of a single ep...)

1. To Love Ru. An alien princess falls to Earth and meets a typical
teenage male, complete with loser gene. While said loser is trying to
make time with the (human) object of his affections, the alien princess
turns up unexpectedly, and misinterprets this as a confession of love
to herself. Hm. Now what exactly does that remind me of....

2. Kure Nai. This one stands out for a much more creditable reason. The
hero is a sort of teenaged odd-job man with extreme physical
capabilities (of as-yet unexplained origin), who is employed to
bodyguard to a young girl who has escaped from a powerful but abusive
family. So far it's all pretty low key and understated, but the first
ep has managed to convince me to see more.
