Now, why doesn't that response from our Justin surprise me?

Anyway, I intend to put up a PDF file of the first couple of chapters,
with their (very few!) illustrations, within the next week or two, and
will post the link here.

Meanwhile, I have now written ten chapters, and am really pleased with
the way it is unfolding.  I'm sure others will have perfectly good
reasons to criticise it and deflate my bubble; but I don't think that
will stop me -- I'll just take it all on board and refine the product.

Remember that all this is very new to me, and I don't consider myself to
be a particularly good storyteller.  Even so, it feels good to me, and I
can hardly wait to get something into the public realm.
