	Then they're pretty well hidden - I've just checked the disc again and 
Japanese is not an option on the languages menu, either in English or 
kanji. I even tried altering the audio set-up while the film was playing 
and no Japanese language option appeared.

	That seems to be the case here - but I don't think the plot of the 
first volume of the manga would be all that difficult to translate onto 
screen. I just saw Wanted recently, and I doubt the first Appleseed 
book would need as many changes as that did from the graphic novel [1].

	[1] Not for kids. Or your Granny. Or indeed, anyone else you know.
